Every pigeon has a fixed speed score. This score ranges from 2 to 9 and is part of the pigeon’s starting profile. In simple terms, it represents a built-in speed-related advantage that some pigeons have over others.

How speed score works in races
When a race starts, the system checks the pigeon’s speed score. If the race matches the pigeon’s favorite distance, the speed score can be activated and give that pigeon an advantage in speed.

A pigeon’s abilities still matter, but speed score gives you a more direct speed-related view when comparing race potential.
