Crypto wallets give you full control over your pigeons and assets, but that also means you are responsible for keeping your wallet secure. This checklist covers the most important habits to stay safe while using Virtual Pigeon Racing.
Safety checklist
1. Protect your wallet secrets
Never share your secret recovery phrase (seed phrase) or private keys with anyone.
Never share your wallet password or authentication details.
Important: Virtual Pigeon Racing will never ask you for your recovery phrase, private keys, password, or approvals via email or unsolicited messages.
2. Verify you are on the official website
Before connecting your wallet, make sure the website address starts with https:// and is the correct domain which is
https://virtualpigeonracing.comBe cautious of lookalike websites that copy the design.
3. Be careful with links, emails, and DMs
Treat unexpected emails or direct messages as suspicious, even if they look official.
Do not click unknown links asking you to connect your wallet or sign something.
4. Only buy from verified or reputable sources
Only buy pigeons or NFTs from official sources or reputable marketplaces verified by the Virtual Pigeon Racing team.
Be cautious with unknown collections or “too good to be true” offers.
5. Read wallet transaction prompts carefully
When your wallet asks you to approve a transaction, read what you are approving before confirming.
If something seems unclear or asks for more permissions than expected, do not approve it.
6. Use strong account security
Use a strong, unique password for your wallet and platform accounts.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where available.
7. Ignore unexpected “free NFT” drops
Do not interact with unsolicited airdrops or unexpected NFTs without verifying the source.
8. Use trusted wallets
We recommend using reputable wallet providers such as Venly and MetaMask, and only installing official wallet apps/extensions. If you plan to hold valuable assets long term, consider using a hardware wallet (such as Ledger or Trezor) for extra protection.
9. Use only official support channels
Only communicate with the Virtual Pigeon Racing team through these official channels:
In-app chat (bottom right corner)
Help Center: help.virtualpigeonracing.com
Email: [email protected]
Our official social media channels:
Important: We do not offer support through any other channels. If someone claims to be VPR support elsewhere, treat it as a scam.
Trusted partners and recommended tools
To reduce risk, we recommend using trusted, widely adopted tools that are part of the VPR ecosystem:
Polygon: VPR runs on the Polygon blockchain (POL), which offers fast processing and low transaction costs. VPR does not use a separate “VPR coin” or token or another cryptocurrency then Polygon. If someone asks you to buy, swap, or send funds using another coin “for VPR,” treat it as a scam.
Venly: A well-established Web3 wallet provider that we support in VPR and that is designed to make onboarding simple and user-friendly.
MetaMask: One of the most widely used crypto wallets globally, trusted by millions of users and widely supported across the blockchain ecosystem.
OpenSea: We partner with OpenSea for NFT sales and visibility, allowing public verification and trading on a major NFT marketplace.
Important: Only install wallet apps/extensions from official sources, and be cautious of fake websites or fake collections that imitate legitimate brands.
