Welcome to Virtual Pigeon Racing
After creating your account, you are ready to start exploring the platform. The first goal is simple: set up your account, get your first pigeons, and prepare for your first race.
The steps below will help you get started quickly and understand how the game works.
Step 1: Connect your wallet
To own pigeons and participate fully in the game, you will need to connect a crypto wallet. Currently we support Venly and MetaMask.
Your wallet is used to:
Store your pigeons (which are NFTs)
Buy and sell pigeons
Participate in races that may require entry fees
Important: Your wallet always remains under your control. Virtual Pigeon Racing never has access to your private keys.
You can learn more in the article Connecting your wallet.
Step 2: Get your first pigeons
To enter races, you need at least one pigeon.
You can acquire pigeons in several ways:
Buying pigeons from the marketplace
Purchasing pigeons from official releases
Acquiring pigeons through breeding
Each pigeon has its own traits, genetics, and racing potential, so choosing the right pigeons can influence your strategy.
Step 3: Explore available races
Once you own pigeons, you can start looking at available races on the world map.
Each race may differ in:
Location
Distance
Weather conditions
Entry requirements
These factors influence how well your pigeon might perform.
Step 4: Enter your first race
When you find a race that fits your pigeon’s strengths, you can enter it and watch the race unfold live.
Racing is the core gameplay mechanic of Virtual Pigeon Racing, and over time your pigeons can improve their performance through racing experience.
Step 5: Build your loft over time
Over time, your goal is to build a strong loft of pigeons and develop valuable bloodlines.
As you continue playing, you can:
Enter more races
Earn rewards
Breed new pigeons
Buy and sell pigeons on the marketplace
